Albelo was trapped with some colony cats but this boy was too sweet to be turned back out. Albelo is FIV+. But, do not let that worry you! FIV cannot be transmitted to people or to dogs. It is transmitted through deep bite wounds from another cat and it is typically transmitted between cats living outdoors, that are competing for limited resources. FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. Our adoption consultants can discuss his diagnosis further with any potential adopters.
