Hey there, my name is Bert! My friends at the shelter don't exactly know how old I am, but they think I am somewhere between 2 and 5. Being an adult who has been on my own for most of my life...I'm inclined to stay independent. I don't really want to be touched, at least not yet. My current caregivers keep trying to convince me that this thing "petting" is nice...I'm not sold. I may do best as a barn kitty once I understand where home is.
