Hi, my name is Coconut. My brother Kiwi and I were rescued from a tough life on the streets when we were about 4 months old. We were found living in an abandoned house but now we are safe with our foster family. We’ve been here for almost 2 months, learning all about the good life, and we’re ready to find a permanent family of our own.I am still a bit cautious around new people because I had such a rough start, but if you spend time with me, I promise to be the best friend ever. I love to play with shoelaces and strings and ribbon wands, and if you play with me, I will lean in for head and chin scratches and pets along my back and tail. I can definitely be won over with treats and food and will meow and run to my foster parents when it’s mealtime. I also love my foster-cat brothers and have even gotten used to my big, crazy foster-dog brother. I will need to go to a home with another friendly cat because he/she will help make me feel more adventurous and confident like my foster brothers have. I have not been around children, but I would probably do best in a quieter environment so I can ease into my new surroundings. Loud noises and sudden movements still startle me. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful tabby, adopt me.
