Dale has been in foster with me since 4/3/24 and is slowly but surely coming out of his shell. With a couple weeks of time to decompress, he has gone from squeezing himself in every hiding place to curiously wandering and exploring the home. He lives with two other friendly cat brothers and a pitbull sister who he coexists with wonderfully. He has even begun to play with the other cats, chasing them around the apartment and calling for them marco-polo style. Recently he discovered the joys of catnip and will eagerly lick it up and roll around in it if given the chance. Treats have been the biggest way to his heart, though-- his favorite is Lick n Lap, which has been a fantastic motivator helping him face his fears.Dale is still working hard on learning to make friends with people. He still gets frightened pretty easily, but every day he gets a little more brave. He will definitely need a home with someone patient and understanding who is willing to help him continue his socialization journey. He is a good boy and just needs the space and time to prove it!
