When my coworkers Josh & Jerry traced cries to a lost kitten in a warehouse closet, Jerry sent a Teams message to me. I drove over before work and rescued the 14-oz aby kitten (named JJ after his rescuers). Two weeks later, the siblings were seen scrambling about the concrete debris pile. Jerry got my kitten traps and caught all FOUR quickly-- beginner's luck! He delivered the kittens to a rescue-friend who babysat until I returned from a vacation. Piper is the leader of the pair, pint-sized with a big purr-- she's the marbled silver tabby, where her brother is striped. Hamelin follows her lead and is big lap-snuggler. While she's just now reaching 2lbs at 10 weeks old, he's already 3 lbs. When I come into the room and sit on the bed, they come rushing from all directions to sprawl in my lap and PURRRRR!They love their snuggle time and climb onto my chest, rub around my face and settle on my shoulder to purr themselves to sleep. Their favorite toys are the little mice, a giant spider thing, and balls... and that mouse on a wand but I can't leave that alone with them! They love wet-food and wait expectantly for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
