Hectate here, named after the greek goddess of magic! I am a 1 year old gentle soul who adores the company of other cats! Whether its chasing each other around, playing hide and seek, or simply snuggling and catching a snooze when I'm all done with the zoomies, hanging out with cat friends is my most favorite thing! I am also an excellent su-purr-visor, and will happily climb high into the cat tree to get a good look around to ensure everything is in order. A home with another friendly feline is key to my success, as I am very shy around new people. A calm, loving and patient home who will give me the time to adjust is all my heart could ask for. Other than breakfast, lunch and dinner, where you can usually hear a little meow from me when I think its time to eat!So what do you say? Think we could be a match? About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
