Lucia was rescued by a little boy and his brother. They protected this young cat who lived outside with the rest of her feline family. When they saw that not only was Lucia going to have kittens of her own, but her mother had been injured, they had their mom call us for help. Nonprofit group Pound Pals Downriver stepped up to treat Lucia's mom, while volunteers cared for Lucia. The boys were promised she would find the right home. All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated. All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box. Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help.
