Adopt Nala (Cocoa) so sweet! a Calico or Dilute Calico Domestic Shorthair (short

Location:
Port Orange, FL
Description:

321-419-XXXX This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 321419XXXX Cat located in this city: Port st john florida Cat’s Name:Nala Cat’s Age & Sex: 12 female Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): spayed, and initially vaccinated. NOT microchipped Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): she's my brother in laws cat that lives with us. One of his old girlfriends just left her here at a few years old. We have 10 month old twin boys, and Nala is starting to swipe at them as they scare her, and she just doesn't have her own space to be herself and at peace with our two babies and three dogs. So please NO small kids for her. She doesn’t want all the noise !! Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): shy, but once she's seen you a few times, social & loving. So just needs a little warm up time. Loves to lay in bed with people and be pet. Will let you pick her up, but doesn't love being held. If more consistent with picking up -she would start to enjoy it more. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): bag or two of meow mix, litter box, some treats and toys. What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): dry only, usually meow mix indoor cat or hairball control. PLEASE KNOW I just learned how important it is for cats to get wet food so they can avoid any future health issues. So maybe in next home, you can give wet food daily (limiting the dry food so hungry enough). More below: :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry foodand ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).:::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfoodIF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier 2) Small adoption fee of: $153) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License.
5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.Call/text me if interested in this kitty: 321419XXXX
