Persephone is about a year old, but was attacked by a neighbor's dog at age 3 weeks old. The neighbor owned the momma, who had her babies at my house. Momma and the rest of the litter were killed and we saved Persephone - the only survivor. Her spine was bruised, but not broken. Her back right leg was amputated at about 5 months old because of severe contracture that caused her a lot of pain. Currently, she is mostly urinary and fecal incontinent and we've spent thousands of dollars on medications and food to see if we could help her. But she's gotten to where she pees and poops allll over our house, the furniture, and such. We can't continue to keep her as an inside cat because of this (she won't wear a diaper). It has created a significant hygiene issue for my kids and family (stepping in pee/poop, her pooping/peeing on beds/furniture). She's neurologically incontinent, not behaviorally. Please help us find her a place to live a happy (hygienic) life!
