Rafi was a rescued kitten. He was the runt and only survivor of his litter. His mother also died during delivery. We have had him since he was weeks old. He is beautiful. He is friendly AND independent- he loves attention on his terms. He is playful-he actually plays fetch, loves being petted, but is not a lap sitter, choosing instead to lay next to us. He gives hugs in the morning. He does have issues: he is not using his litter box and scratching. We do medicate him daily with Prozac ointment in his ear ( a morning routine he does well with). We have used a pheromone diffuser. We have an appointment to surrender this week but clearly don’t want that for him. Although we are home with him most of the time, he seems to miss us even when gone for a few hours- he may need more attention than we have provided. We want to see him in a home that can love him and handle his issues with kindness and caring like we’ve tried to do.
