I'll need extra help from you.Please check here for updated adoption hours.A volunteer writes: My heart goes out to Samuel as he tries his best to figure out his place in the hustling, bustling Care Center. Thankfully, and little by little, he's been letting us in to show us the great cat we know he is. He was brought to us in March with his housemates and Samuel just didn't want to make any waves. Seemingly trying to blend in with the crowd, he found a safe space in his beds, blankets, and toys, and at first that was all he wanted. For a while, Samuel wasn't interested in volunteer visitors, so I'd leave some treats and go about my day. But then, something wonderful happened. Samuel took one tiny step forward than usual, and then another. I offered him my hand and he leaned into me and relaxed into neck scritches. Taking treats from my hand and softly cuddling into pets, he took a little break from his current worries to accept love. This is a guy who has so infinite friendship and love to share and is only waiting for his forever family to come and welcome him into their hearts and homes.
