Buffy and Tuxie mean the world to each other. They curl up together in all sorts of configurations, groom each other, and even walk together shoulder to shoulder to get food! Buffy is the communicator, giving a trill when she's approaching either a human or Tuxie. She'll approach Tuxie and talk with him and groom him a bit, then they'll both get up to walk to the food bowls, shoulder to shoulder and tails high. Buffy will also trill as she's walking up to get pets. Tuxie on the other hand isn't as interested in pets - he's content to luxuriate in his bed, and snuggle with Buffy. They make such a striking pair - Tuxie with his incredibly long white whiskers and perfect tuxedo, and Buffy with the beautiful color palate of fur, nose, and eyes. Notes From Foster : Tuxie has been my project as he was quite shut down upon entering the shelter. He has gradually come out of his shell with the help of Delectables tube treats. He quickly picked up the beginnings of target training. He clearly loves Buffy and they are so sweet to watch together. He is more reserved and tentative to accept physical affection from humans, but he does enjoy a good scratch behind the ears.
