Hi! I'm Vogue. I'm from Minnesota. However, my foster parents call me Colonel Mustard, The Colonel, and Little Bit as well. I am a teeny tiny girl with silky soft fur, crazy ears, and a fluffy tail. I am incredibly shy at first and will hide, but once you earn my trust, I will snuggle under a blanket in your lap or on your chest and purr loudly. I love getting pets under my chin and on my head. I may be itty bitty in size, but I have a giant personality as soon as I need to state my opinions. I'm not necessarily an avid talker, but if I'm upset, I will make it known. I love to argue with my foster parents and my meows sound like I'm asking them some very serious questions. I have never scratched, bit, hissed, or shown any type of aggression. I'm mostly a laid-back chill lady. I have yet to really play with toys around the house, but I have shown interest in a ball being rolled in my vicinity. At night, my greatest joy is to pounce on my foster mom's feet and then pretend I'm sound asleep. I am perfectly litter-box trained and a champion eater. I do most of my activities at night when it's quiet so if you don't see me all day don't worry too much- I'm probably just lounging somewhere. Three large things to note: 1. I came from a hoarding situation so I still have a lot of adjusting to do in terms of comfort preferences and socialization. If you are my ideal forever home, your greatest trait will need to be patience. I hid under my foster parents bed for a solid 2 weeks before they even got a good look at me. But over time I have become more comfortable. I even let them pick me up every once in awhile. 2. I am awesome with other cats and would probably handle a calmer dog just fine as well. I have two foster cat siblings currently and we co-exist perfectly. Even when I first arrived (and they were less than thrilled), I was not concerned. 3. I'm not picky when it comes to food at this point, but if there are other animals around I may get scared and choose not to approach my food dish until I feel safe. I will eat both wet and dry foods. Right now, I eat in a different room from my foster siblings just so that I don't have to worry about food snatchers.
