If ever there was a lucky kitten, it’s wide-eyed princess Alcie! Alcie was found all alone as a tiny kitten by a Good Samaritan as she was walking the grounds of her apartment complex. Unfortunately, the young son of the Good Samaritan was allergic to Alcie so Texas CARES stepped in to help foster her. Luckily, Alcie was healthy and strong and has only continued to flourish in her temporary home. It is fitting that Alcie was found on her little walkabout as she is very curious and adventurous. She has an outgoing and confident nature and is usually the first in line to try new things. She loves to play and bonds easily with people and other kitties. She quickly befriended the two small dogs in her foster home a well. Alcie likes being held, snuggled and kissed within an inch of her life. Then off she goes, her bouncy, happy go lucky self on yet another adventure. It should be noted that Alcie was introduced to Rolo, another orphaned bottle baby, when she came into foster care (Rolo is the solid brown tabby in the pics). Alcie and Rolo bonded right away and you’d never know they weren’t biological siblings they get on so well. They are like the perfect yin/yang together – Alcie is the leader and slightly more active, where Rolo is more the subdued, lap cat type. It is not an absolute requirement, but a paired adoption of both Alcie and Rolo would be a win-win: the kittens have each other when left alone, and the humans get double the joy! Alcie is litter box trained, microchipped, combo tested (negative for FIV and feline leukemia) and up to date on vaccinations. This little gal is just the brightest little star and would love to have her own forever family.
