Hi my name is Alfalfa! I am a thick, medium haired dilute calico/blush calico with grey undertones. I am BONDED to my sister, Lavender! My foster mother tells me that I am a very special kitten because I am completely BLIND. I rely heavily on my sister, Lavender to be my eyes. (My sister is only blind in one eye and has full vision in her other eye.) She helps me with her little chirps and stays close to me most of the day. I have excellent hearing and can navigate my foster room wonderfully! I love to run & play with toys! My favorite thing is to climb high to the top of the cat tree or the back of the sofa! My foster mom says I'm definitely a "tree dweller"! I am exceptional snuggly and love to be held and loved on!As soon as I hear my foster mom's voice, I run towards her and beg to be picked up and snuggled! My sister Lavender is the same way! My sister and I would love a calm, loving home together with someone who understands our special needs and can provide a safe, consistent lifestyle & surroundings for us to live in... enabling us to thrive and be loved unconditionally. We are a unique bonded pair that are extremely loving, gentle, and trusting.....if we sound like kittens you are looking for, please reach out to meet us!Adoption processDuring review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease. We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption. Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted. You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings).
