VELCRO LAP KITTEN DOB 3/9/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Aurora, a sweet, affectionate, and cuddly black DSH/ Bombay mix gal who’s a Velcro kitty because I stick close to my hoomans. I’m the one of the five in the #lucky-star-litter who especially loves people and likes to spend quality time in Foster Meowmy’s lap. I luxuriate when she pets me and scratches my ears, chin, or cheeks, and that’s when I turn on my purr motor. Sometimes I have to be a bit vocal so Foster Meowmy gives me the attention I crave, but my persistence pays off. Eclipse, Astro, Nebula, Orion, and I were born to a stray community cat who was hanging out at an apartment complex. Momma brought us inside a nice lady’s apartment and just made herself at home. The nice lady fed Momma for while she was nursing us; only problem was that the nice lady wasn’t allowed to have pets in her apartment. Fortunately her good friend is a regular HOPE foster meowmy, and she stepped up to the plate and brought us home to foster when we were 6.5 weeks old and fully weaned. We fit in great with the other resident cats as well as the dog, and all of them act as great surrogate aunts and uncles. And we all love it that Foster Meowmy’s home is fully equipped with toys for us to play soccer with and to chase as we flip in the air. Of course, my siblings and I tumble and pounce, wrestle and climb with each other, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle when we’re exhausted. Now I’m ready for a forever home of my own. Arrange to meet me, and consider adopting me with one of the #lucky-star-litter so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. You may fill it out online or print a copy of the application and complete it prior to arriving at an adoption session. This will expedite the adoption process and will also assist our adoption counselors in matching you to a suitable pet. We at HOPE make every effort to match our foster pets to appropriate homes. If you feel that we are too intrusive, please understand that it is because we care about their welfare. FeesAll animals are neutered or spayed and have received age appropriate shots prior to being adopted. We ask that you provide a $100 donation for cats and a donation of $150 for dogs when you adopt your new family member from us. This donation helps us in defraying the costs of these and other medical needs of our animals.Shelter locationMobile adoption sessions are held on the weekends.
