Sweet yet shy, Betty is rocking out at our adoption center for now while her family is still out there somewhere, not even knowing their fate is sealed the moment they lock eyes with her. Maybe you applied knowing you wanted a cat and see her here on the site, or maybe you just grabbed a coffee down the street and on a whim stepped into our center to take a 15 minute AC break from the scorching summer sun. It doesn't matter, and Betty doesn't care, she just wants your attention, your pets, and some tasty noms. Her origin is just as much of a mystery, having been found as a stray with her newborn kittens. Now, all Betty needs is your patience and trust so she has a chance to spoil you with a phone so full of content you'll need to start deleting apps to make room for the photos. We haven't seen her interact with other animals, but has appeared a little stressed when near other cats, so she might prefer to be your only pet. Kids would be fine, just so long as they let her adjust those first few days. So, are you willing to take a bet on Betty? Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.
