Meet Casey! Casey is a sweet, even-tempered, playful, affectionate young cat. He loves to cuddle with humans. Other cats make him nervous. This is unfortunate because it means he can’t join our shelter’s feline leukemia positive community. We tried introducing him multiple times, but he always just shut down and tried not to be noticed by the other kitties. Casey can’t live the rest of his life in a quarantine cubby, so he needs a home of his own. Casey is currently feeling pretty good, and we hope he can live a long, good quality life. Is this where you come in? This is a cat who will be happy to hang out in the same room as you either next to you or on your lap, but won’t be pushy once he’s had some snuggles. He likes to play. He also likes to sleep a lot, which seems to be genetic because his sibling was just the same way. Casey was born November 2022. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation.
