Meet Chia, an adorable 8-week-old female kitten with a social and adventurous spirit. She's wild, spunky, and ready to explore, yet gentle and snuggly, making her the perfect little companion. Chia could thrive in a household that is either lively or calm, as she is adaptable to different environments. Chia can be a fantastic companion for children and is sure to bring joy and entertainment into their lives. As a kitten, Chia’s forever home will need to have another energetic feline friend to keep her company. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings, Cappuccino, Latte, or Frappe. Chia has even gotten along great with the small dogs in her foster family, proving she’s a true social butterfly! Chia’s play style includes a fondness for springs and fuzzy balls, as well as any toy that involves interactive play with her siblings. Of course, Chia gets her first pick of the toys she wants to play with, and ensures her siblings respect her first dibs wishes. She's a tree climber, racing up and down to burn off energy and have a blast. After a play session, you will find her snuggling in the sunlit window. Chia is a lovebug who adores belly rubs, back scratches, and head bops. Her purr is bigger than she is, and she's always ready for some affection. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
