We do our best to update information on adoptable pets as frequently as we can. If you’re interested in a specific pet, we recommend that you call the shelter and ask if he or she still is available. Adoption questionnaires are processed in the order in which they're received.For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test.
