Meet Fennel, who we call Finn! He is a beautiful dilute orange tabby and is the spitting image of his mother … her mini me. He has a similar disposition and is very affectionate to his human companions and runs to greet them whenever they open the door or walk in the room. His purr box and sweet big eyes are adorable. He is good with other cats, kittens and children, with no exposure to dogs. He loves people and would do best where he has a human companion who is home or feline friend to keep him company. Born 3/2/2024 Our family took in his mother, a beautiful, affectionate lap kitty who was abandoned by her owner and already pregnant. We pampered her throughout her pregnancy, kept her safe and warm, and gave her some of her favorite foods … salmon pate. She gave birth to a litter of 6 healthy kittens in our mudroom. Our kids have absolutely loved caring for mama and her babies, and cuddling and playing with them daily. Mama nursed her kittens consistently until 11 weeks when we had to begin a gentle weaning process to prepare her for her spay procedure. Due to their time with their mom, these kittens have adjusted so well to each new stage of their lives. We cannot wait to share all the baby pictures with each kitten’s forever family. Our family is keeping two of the kittens and we want other families to get to experience how sweet these kittens are by adopting the other three into their homes (Fennel, Willow, and Pepper). Fennel (Finn) is laid back and a wonderful companion. He plays and wrestles with his siblings and loves to play inside paper grocery bags that tip over. He loves to lounge in our deep window sills, and I often find him catching a snooze there in the sunshine. He is very affectionate with his human companions, but is confident to go explore and then come back by and do a quick ankle rub to check in. He loves head scratches, pets and companionship. He loves to be near his people and is just the perfect respectful little gentleman. A pure sweetheart. Fennel (Finn) is litter box trained and experienced with carriers. He and his litter mates have an easy routine for eating and nap times, making him fit right into family life. Fennel (Finn) has received his first round of vaccinations and is neutered. He is now available as Foster2Adop until the completion of booster vaccinations due after 7/4/24.
