80S TOYS THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 3 months old / Approx. 3.5 lbs. Hi, I’m Jem – one of the adorable 80s Toys themed kittens! If you thought 80s toys were tons of fun, wait until you meet me! Mostly Mutts rescued my siblings and I from animal control, and we went to a great foster home. Then, I took up residence in the Kitty Room at the shelter and have made progress in coming out of my shell – thanks to the kitty socializer volunteers who spend time with me daily. Their dedication is paying off, and I am now ready to find my new family to love! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I loved my siblings and am learning to get along very well with my new kitty roommates! I’m now playing with them! I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet. / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My siblings and I were all pretty nervous and unsure when we first came to live at the shelter. The kitty socializers went to work – patiently sitting with us, giving us space and time to grow and be comfortable. Now I am coming out of my shell, playing in front of them and even seeking out attention at times. I’m still a little shy about being picked up but will cuddle when held … especially if I am pooped form a great play session. I’ve come a long way! I may need some adjustment time in my new home, but I promise lots of kitty love once I know you are my friend! • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play with my kitty roommates now and enjoy exploring around the kitty room. The toys have started to interest me, and I love wand play and tunnels. I’m blossoming into a playful kitten! / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I’m up to date on my kitten shots, spayed and microchipped. I am looking for a home where I will be a cherished family member! We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-XXXX to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info:Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Each dog that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash: Spay or Neuter SurgeryVaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella)De-WormingMicrochipHeartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats.
