Josh is a delightful little guy, a lover boy supreme. He came to Heartland from our partner shelter in Kentucky with his brother, Ben. Both kittens were playful and loving. Ben gained weight quickly, was neutered and adopted. But, despite a good appetite, Josh was slow to gain. He finally reached 2 pounds and is ready for adoption. I suspect he will remain a fairly small cat. Josh loves to be with his people. First thing in the morning, he is in your lap. He plays enthusiasticly with the other fosters, but his greatest love is his person!##2094293##Adoption processAll of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots. Adoption Fees:Puppies (under 8 months) $350 Puppies (8-12 months) $250Adult Dogs $200Senior Dogs (over 10 years) $100Cats $100/ over 3 years $50Rabbits $50 (includes alter)Ferrets $150/pair; $100 /singleGuinea Pigs $25/ $40 pairRats $10Hamsters $10Gerbils $10Degus $20Hedgehogs $75Chinchillas $100Birds - adoption fee varies with speciesReptiles - adoption fee varies with speciesShelter locationWe hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3.
