I was born to a feral mom in a trailer park. We had a wonderful caretaker that gathered us kittens up as soon as we were starting to explore the world. I hear they also gathered up mom and fixed things so she wouldn't have to have any more kittens. She's back home, just enjoying life. I'm ready to get on with my life. I'm very shy so it has taken me awhile to decide that people are okay and that being petted is a very pleasant thing that people do to kitties. I'm a very quiet girl and I can entertain myself. However, I've always had other cats to play with so a home with another cat or two would be comfortable (as long as they are friendly!). I enjoy toys and yummy food. I haven't met any dogs or young children so they should be introduced carefully. I'll probably do best in a rather quiet home with people that will give me time to settle in at my own speed.Adoption processOur current fee for a cat or kitten is $80.00We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.Shelter locationWe currently have kennels available to us at the Twin Falls and Meridian PetSmart Adoption Centers. We have scheduled kitten socials, where you can arrange to meet some of our cats. Our pets are also available for viewing on our website and on petfinder.com. We are happy to arrange a private meeting and adoption for any of our cats after we have approved the adoption application.
