Kittens are normally available in early Summer through Fall. However, with our milder climate, it's becoming more of a year-round situation, oh dear! Dog and Cat Emporiium, 485 Coburg Rd #G, Eugene 97401 When you find a match, submit a paper adoption application for consideration at the stores or online at www.CatRescues.org/forms (requires downloading free Adobe software). As an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill cat rescue group, we strive to find the best match between feline and human for a lifetime of love based in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. This matchmaking is not based on "first come, first served." Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet. All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.Shelter locationOur cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 12:30-2:30pm, Sat.-Sun.
