Kiwi was found all by himself under a car on Queens street. This poor boy was so hungry he was eating the cooked rice that was left for the birds. Kiwi is about 6 months old, is very affectionate, playful, and just loves attention! Not only does he enjoy a cozy lap, but he will lay on your chest and purr up a storm! He loves to be loved! He gets along well with other cats, and he especially loves the company of children! He is neutered, UTD on all of his shots, tested double negative for FELV/FIV and internal parasites. Kiwi is also microchipped.Adoption processAfter an application is submitted, the applicant is run through the NYS Animal Abuse Registry, references including vet are checked and a home visit is required. There is also an adoption fee.Shelter locationWe hold our bi-monthly adoption events at Pets Supplies Plus located at 74-17 Grand Avenue, Maspeth, NY 11378 . There is free parking and it is close to many subway and bus lines.Our events are usually held from 1-5:30.
