Meet Kona, an orange and white tabby boy born approximately October 30, 2023. He is a very curious kitten and loves to explore. Kona is very playful and absolutely loves pets! He will often grab his foster mom's hand with his paws and pull it toward him face for face rubs. Kona and a sibling were trapped by a foster partner who feared they were in danger while running loose in her neighborhood. When first rescued, Kona was a hissy little guy! His foster mom’s patience and gentleness have worked wonders, and he is now such a sweet cat. Kona gets along with other cats and needs to be adopted into a home with a companion to play and socialize with. All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
