Maxine is Regine’s sister, and these two really would prefer to be adopted together. Maxine is a gorgeous black and orange tortoiseshell with soft fur. She enjoys playing with her sister and chasing after balls and the little red dot of a laser pointer. Maxine starts off a little skittish, but with some patience warms up and really enjoys being petted which she tells you by purring. Although not as confident as her sister, she gains courage by watching her and following her lead. She would definitely benefit by being adopted with a confident companion. Their other sisters, who have been in a separate foster home since they arrived at MPR, are Khadijah and Synclaire.Meet Maxine and Regine at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, on Saturday, 12-4pm, during our weekly adoption event. Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption.
