Say hello to Midnight! He was rescued by a Virginia Beach resident working as a contractor in Jordan as part of his efforts to save some of the many, many street cats of Amman. As his time working there winds down, he’s desperately seeking loving permanent homes for them in the US - how cool would it be to add one of these babies to your family? Not everyone has a Jordanian cat, after all! This majestic medium haired black and grey cat was originally a Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) but later became a foster cat when he developed an upper respiratory infection that required a few weeks at the veterinarian. He is now fully recovered and enjoying the good life indoors with his foster cat roommates! Midnight loves to play and he loves water too! His favorite toys are rubber bouncy balls and plastic springs that he will chase across the floor at top speed as he tries to catch them. He has a very short, quiet meow that is more of a squeak than a meow. He also has the cutest chirp when he hears his name called! His luxurious coat is extremely soft and he loves to be brushed to keep him looking sleek and handsome. He really enjoys being picked up and cuddled! He is a little shy but only because he is still adjusting to life indoors and there isn’t a lot of privacy in his foster’s small apartment. Midnight gets along very well with all of his foster cat roommates, whether they’re older or younger than him. He has never seen a dog or children so he might not be a good fit in a home that has them. While he would do great as the only cat in his new home, he would be even better with his best friend Luke to play with! Please consider adopting a partner for him for twice the fun and cuddles.
