Kids Dogs Cats Physical Description Mittens is missing one leg (his right back leg) due to an amputation for an injury, hence why we affectionately call him Mittens with the missing Mitten. He is a grey and white kitten and likely will have short fur when he is an adult. Personality Mittens has a personality and back story! He is a charismatic kitten with loads of personality and is one tough cookie. He was rescued due to an injury with his back leg but has never let it get him down! He is the perfect addition to a family and it is very hard not to immediately fall in love with him! He is the best snuggle buddy and loves to cuddle under blankets while watching TV shows. He always tucks himself in under blankets when he is ready for a nap. He's also very confident and energetic. He has loved playing with his foster brother and it has been a hoot to watch him navigate his way around with such stealth and balance that he puts adult cats to shame. He would do well in a home with another cat that likes to play or adopted with another kitten. Mittens never holds grudges even though he's had daily bandage changes for most of his life. He immediately forgets and goes back to playing right away. He's also learned to navigate the dog world with his foster dog brothers and gives them space which is great! He is learning to be a savvy cat. This kitty has what sort of characteristics? The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $135 for kittens or $80 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).
