Meet this cutie named Morty! He and his brother, Rick came into the shelter on May 7, 2024 as strays and were never reclaimed so they are old enough to be available for adoption. They came in around 5 weeks old and have been dewormed and given first set of vaccinations. Will get boosters when due while in Cchs care. They are super friendly and love to soak up all the love and affection one has to share. Both kitties can be messy eaters and like in pics need to be wiped off after eating until a little older. Morty is adorable and deserves to grow up in a loving home knowing happiness and a great life. Maybe you’re purr-fect for Morty…maybe his brother too?! Also a few tips with kittens…they do great in pairs…always a friend around. Clipping your kitties nails every ~5 weeks reduces their need to scratch in order to file back length. Climbing is something all cats particularly love to do. A climbing tower that has a scratching post would be best. Toys…inexpensive “pipe cleaners…in arts and craft area) are great as well as toys with bells, and laser light. We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Petfinder as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption. Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. It makes their time here more enjoyable when they get extra love & attention. Also, we need volunteers & foster homes!
