Floofy, silly, and full of sass! Oogie Boogie is a beautiful and spunky kitten who is ready to bring the fun! Oogie came into foster care after being brought into Chicago Animal Care and Control all by herself. While she may have been a lone kitten at CACC, once she was big enough to meet some new friends she quickly joined in all the fun of the kitty crew in her foster home. Oogie is playful and loves to chase a puff ball, wand toy, or even a shoe lace. She is one of the chattiest cats we have ever met, she always has something to say! If she can't find you in the house, you may even hear her meowing to call for you. Oogie spends much of the day playing with toys and other kitties, but once she tuckers out she is ready for a cozy nap in a blankie or on the couch. She is a wonderful movie and video game pal, laying right next to you or crawling on top of you to ask for a few pets. She is even learning how to run on a cat wheel, which you can see in her videos! Oogie loves and needs kitty pals in her forever home, so at least one other kitten pal or younger cat friend who will play with her is a must. She will gladly befriend your resident kitty if you have one already, or we can help you to find an appropriately matched pal to adopt alongside her! She has not spent time with dogs or young children in foster care. The start of her life may have been a bit rough, but Oogie Boogie deserves only the best moving forward! Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
