Hi, I’m Oshkosh. My two brothers and I were rescued from Leisure World when we were about four months old. We weren’t used to being around people and were really, really scared. I started out being the shyest and did the most hiding, but I’ve gotten braver around people and enjoy my kitty roommates. I still don’t welcome pets or being picked up. Our brother Oyster has found his forever home, but Osaka and I are still waiting. I’m hoping for a forever home with Osaka or with another cat or kitten and a Mom or Dad who understands shy cats and has lots of patience. All family members, including other resident dogs, must meet the new dog. The adoption process for cats and kittens includes:A detailed application.An interview with the potential adopter(s).And a home visit, in some circumstances. To ensure the best possible match for our cats and kittens, all applications are reviewed by our adoption committee and determination can take up to 48 hours.Shelter location**We are currently closed to the public, but visits can be made by appointment - please check our website home page for details!** You can meet all of our wonderful animals at our center by appointment or with an approved adoption application. We are open 7 days a week. Mon-Wed-Fri 1pm-5pmTues & Thurs 2pm-4pmSat & Sun 11am-5pm
