Meow! Hi there, I'm Owen, the most handsome orange tabby you'll ever meet! I'm writing to tell you all about myself because I heard you might be looking for a new furry friend.I'm part of a special group - me and my four littermates were named after characters from the show "Party of Five." We were quite the bunch, but then another kitten joined us, making us a party of six! We're all playful, loving and full of energy, just like any kitten should be.I'm particularly fond of playtime and cuddles. I love chasing after feather toys and snuggling up on laps for cozy naps. I'm also really affectionate and enjoy being around people. My foster mom says I'm a social butterfly!Speaking of family, I'd really love to be adopted with one of my littermates. We've grown up together, and it would be so much fun to continue our adventures in a loving forever home. If adopting two of us isn't possible, my foster mom says I could also join a family that already has a younger, playful cat. Having a buddy to romp around with is a must!Come meet me and my siblings and see if we're a purr-fect match!Adoption processDuring review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease. We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption. Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted. You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings).
