Meet Peanut, She’s the perfect blend of playful energy and heartwarming snuggles! She’s the peanut butter to your jelly, always ready to curl up beside you for a Netflix binge or keep you company during work meetings. Peanut is the ultimate lap cat who adores being close to her humans. If your lap is taken, she’ll happily snuggle up by your feet, making sure you’re never alone. But don’t let her love of cuddles fool you Peanut is also a little firecracker! Peanut has met dogs and was pretty indifferent, so she’s likely to adapt to homes with respectful pups given a proper introduction. She gets along great with cats, kittens, respectful children, and adults, making her the perfect fit for a loving household. Being the little firecracker that she is she will need to be adopted into a home that has another young, playful resident cat. Peanut’s siblings, Cinnamon, Oreo, and Snickerdoodle are just as adorable, and one of them would love to be adopted with her. When it’s time to play, Peanut’s all in, zooming around at top speed chasing balls, springs, and anything that moves. Hours of fun are guaranteed when she’s batting a ball around or engaging in playful wrestling matches with her siblings and foster friends. She’s always up for a game but knows how to balance her wild side with moments of pure affection. And how can you resist that nose? Peanut’s little black nose spot is the most "boopable" thing ever, adding to her irresistible charm. She loves to be petted, and if you’re not paying enough attention, she’ll gently remind you it’s time for snuggles. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
