Puma is an adorable male kitten who was born at HSOV after his mother Socks (a beautiful 2-year old black/white Tuxedo kitty) was brought to the HSOV on June 19th. Socks gave birth to five kittens on July 4, 2019 and had one little girl (Jordan) and four little boys (Asic, Nike, Puma, and Timberland).Socks raised five healthy, happy youngsters under less-than-ideal surroundings in a small shelter cage. Her kittens were separated from their mother in mid-October 2019 since they were fully weaned and Socks was given a well-deserved break from 'the kids' :)Puma has a shiny black short smooth coat with a small patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a cute chubby face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. Puma has an affectionate, playful personality and was a delight to photograph as he discovered a Halloween ribbon during his photo session.Puma and his brother Timberland are nearly identical twins except that the patch of white on Puma's chest is slightly smaller.Puma was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on October 5, 2019. His sister (Jordan) and his mother (Socks) have been combo tested and are negative for feline leukemia and FIV .. which is great news for Puma as well.Puma was neutered on October 19, 2019 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 4.3 lbs that day.Puma is now ready to find a terrific home either by adoption or rescue ..
