Regis is a 3 year old, medium haired guy! He has lived outside his entire life and would be best placed as a barn cat/ shop cat. Regis allows pets and ear scratches, but is not fond of being held or picked up. He is a quite, mellow guy. Regis did have to be shaved down when he came in, due to severe matting to his fur. It will be grown back in time for winter! ALL of our barn/shop cats are spayed/neutered, eartipped, vaccinated and have had heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Barn cat applications can be filled out at FCAC in person. Barn cats don't have a set adoption fee, so any money donation towards the adoption of a barn cat goes towards our barn cat fund. Acclimation information is supplied at pick up. This money helps us to continues this program and help spay & neuter other outdoor cats to help reduce the cat overpopulation crisis in our area! Keep in mind, FCAC pays roughly $70 per adult cat to have them completely vetted, so we are making nothing off of cat adoptions/barn cat placements.
