Hi, I'm Sassy. My story is sad. I was once a loved, cherished pet to a nice older couple, living with my sister, Buckie, and two other adult kitties. Born to a feral mom, I was taken in as a kitten. First my human dad passed away, then my human mom became Ill and had to move away too. But, mom didn't take us with her. Instead we were put outside, our home locked up and we were alone, scared to death and super confused. The only people and home we knew were gone! Luckily, the big hearts at Magicats stepped in to help us. But enough about my problems. I'm a five year old lady, quiet, and quite independent, but I do like getting and giving affection, headbutts and friendly chirpy conversation.. I'd be an excellent only kitty, or perhaps cohabit with with another easy going kitty. I enjoy lounging, a sunny window, and observing nature. An adult home would be best, where I can be reassured and feel secure that I am loved and wanted. I was previously an indoor/outdoor cat, which we can discuss further. Please, are you the one with time, patience and understanding for me? I've been through a lot. Are you the one who can you help me believe in love again?Adoption processOur current fee for a cat or kitten is $80.00We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.Shelter locationWe currently have kennels available to us at the Twin Falls and Meridian PetSmart Adoption Centers. We have scheduled kitten socials, where you can arrange to meet some of our cats. Our pets are also available for viewing on our website and on petfinder.com. We are happy to arrange a private meeting and adoption for any of our cats after we have approved the adoption application.
