Allow me to introduce you all to this celestial family of purrballs! Mama Stella (meaning star ) was rounded up with some other strays in Aurora, Colorado and it was quickly determined that she was pregnant. Fast forward to April 8th, the same day that North America witnessed a solar eclipse, and Stella decided to bring her little ones earthside. these five kittens have been a pure delight in foster care, and are all sweet, playful and spunky! This is Umbra, meaning shadow or darkness. More specifically, it is the dark spot of an eclipse. Umbra has led the way in terms of learning everything first. He was the first to open his eyes, eat cat food, drink water and use the cat box. He’s very adventurous and fearless, but also loves to be held and snuggled.
