Adoption processAdoption application required. Our contract does state that if you can no longer care for the pet you have adopted from us that it will be returned to the shelter. Our fees range from $5.00 to $50.00depending on the type and age of animal. In addition the adopter agrees to pay the cost of spay/neuter at a vet's office . If the potential adopter rents his home, a landlord approval note is required. We also require a meet and greet for dogs if there are other dogs in the home.Shelter locationThe Clinton Humane Society is located off the north end of Mill Creek Parkway at 1473 Main Avenue in Clinton, Iowa 52732.
