Wilford isn't here to talk to you about diabeetus , but he is here to tell you he is looking for his forever home. Persians are very popular, but you must know that they are high maintenance, require frequent grooming and are quirky. Wilford has some quirks but he is a sweet boy that needs someone who can be patient and understanding of his quirks a s also experienced with Persians. Wilford is guessed to be about 4 ish years old. If you are interested in adopting Wilford please fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
