Meet Winnie! As a kitten, Winnie is very adaptable and could thrive in almost any kind of home environment. She is filled with life and could make a fantastic companion for children, dogs, or other kitties. Winnie would love to be adopted with any of her siblings, Tigger, Roo, or Kanga. This adorable lady is the runt of her litter, but she has never let her size define her. For example, she surprised everyone with her determination by mastering the stairs before her siblings. And don’t let her size fool you—she is brimming with energy! Of course, Winnie will play with any cat toy that she can get her paws on. She loves the sounds the toys make, especially foil balls. Like a true social butterfly, Winnie also adores playing and pouncing on her siblings and older cats in the house. When she’s not playing, she’s a cuddler, ready to snuggle up for some affection. She especially favors scratches under her chin and behind her hind legs. Winnie’s superpower is her ability to hypnotize you for more food. She sure knows how to use her charm to receive an extra treat! If hypnotism won’t work, she might just use her adorable little meow to make her soft, demanding requests. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
