Hi there! My name is Zara, and I’m a curious tabby kitten with a heart full of hope and adventure! I had quite the start in life — my siblings and I were born under the cozy branches of an evergreen tree, where we played and explored until we were found and brought into foster care. It was a big change, but thanks to our wonderful foster mom, we’ve been showered with love and care ever since. I’m a firm believer in the power of family, which is why I’d really love to find my forever home with my almost-twin brother Blaze. We’re practically inseparable! But I’ve heard my foster mom say that if there’s a home with a young, playful cat already there, she might consider adopting us out separately so we can each have a buddy. I understand — having a feline friend is a must! I’m a bundle of energy and affection, always ready to pounce on a toy or curl up for a cozy nap in a warm lap. I dream of a home where I can explore new places, chase after imaginary mice, and share moments of joy with someone who will love me as much as I will love them. If you’re looking for a spunky, loving tabby kitten (or two!), please consider bringing me and Blaze into your heart and home. Yours hopefully, ZaraAdoption processDuring review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease. We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption. Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted. You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings).
