Marvelous (shaded golden, female, ELH) x Jasper (white, male, Persian) Litter - DOB 2/5/24. Each kitten from this litter is named from a synonym of their mother's name. This is sweet Glorious. She tends to keep out of the spotlight that most of her siblings are always fighting for. She is an observer, quiet and very gentle. Today, we were looking for her when a family was trying to decide who they wanted, and she was nowhere to be found until they left. It's hard to say if the commotion was too much for her or if she was fast asleep in a secret spot. She doesn't intentionally hide when we have company or perspective families, by any means. She will have deep orange eyes. She has super soft fluffy hair and white as snow. This is a CFA registered litter as "Exotic Long Hair (ELH father is a white Persian and mother is a shaded golden ELH. Exotic Long Hair were developed in 1966 by breeding peke-faced (flat-faced) Persians outside their line to get short haired Persians called Exotic Short Hair. Long hair is recessive, so you need two copies to get long hair. When breeding short hairs, they can carry long hair genes, so they essentially ended up with long haired cats again. It just means their bloodline isnt pure Persian; same with Himalayans and Ragdolls, both are front Persian lines.
