Mr. Rogers was out on a stroll when a particular home captured his attention. His keen instincts (and the rumblings in his tummy) told him that he would find a friend there. He plopped down in front of the door and waited for the human-of-the-house to answer. Turns out, the owner was named Becca and she was no ordinary person... she was a Rescue House volunteer! After offering Mr. Rogers a delicious meal, Becca hung up "Found Cat" flyers in the area and made posts online to connect the sweet fellow with his family. When no one responded, she took him in to officially foster him through the Rescue House. With his super cool foster mom to guide him, Mr. Rogers is on his way to finding the very best forever home a kitty could ask for!With Mr. Rogers around, it's always Cozy Hour! So, feel free to kick off your shoes, slip into that comfy sweater, and get ready for cuddles. In fact, it didn't take long for Mr. Rogers to reveal his snuggly side. After about a week to settle in Becca's place, he went into full lap cat mode. If your lap is unavailable, no worries! This cheerful guy has no problem entertaining himself with his collection of kitty trinkets. It's great fun to watch him chase the feather wands and tussle with the kicker toy. Or he'll climb to the top of the cat tree where he can catch the warm sunrays. According to him, that's the purrfect place for a nap. As for manners, Mr. Rogers is a wonderful role model. He is an excellent eater and, despite having lived outdoors, he had no issues transitioning to the litter box. One warning: Mr. Rogers is a very vocal boy who isn't afraid to use his outside voice. While we aren't completely sure what he is saying, we think it must be meows of praise, catchy songs and of course, how much he adores you! Even though he did not directly interact with the resident cats, he could see them through the catio screen. He did not seem bothered by them or show any signs of aggression. He'd likely adjust to other felines given proper introductions. We don't know how he feels about dogs. Respectful children should be okay. Handsome, charming and affectionate- Mr. Rogers is a dream come true! All he asks is, "Would you be mine?
