Meet Meeko, He’s a social guy who will run right up to the door to greet you! Although a bit shy around new people, he quickly opens up and reveals his charming personality with a loud and delightful purr. Meeko has a heart issue that will impact the length of his life. He takes three medications twice a day and they are given twelve hours apart. It is extremely important that he gets them on schedule and therefore he requires an adopter that can closely monitor his condition. He loves attention and is more than happy to spend the day snuggled up with his human friends! Sporting an endearing little mask marking he resembles a miniature superhero. This debonair young man will do well in any type of loving home environment. He thrives on human interaction and would appreciate a home where his humans are around more often than not. Meeko does enjoy having a cat companion around to hang out with and would like to continue his frolics with another young, playful resident cat. Meeko enjoys playing with wand and string toys and he has a particular fondness for the trackball toy as he is irresistibly drawn to the thrill of chasing it as it swiftly maneuvers along the track. While Meeko does enjoy his toys, his true passion lies in snuggling up with you and purring the day away. Belly rubs are his ultimate weakness, and he will be more than happy to lounge around and be your constant companion. He has an affinity for lounging upside down, with his paws raised in a bunny-like pose, which just adds a delightful and charming touch to this already adorable young guy! This delightful man is a true cuddle bug and a lap cat. His affectionate nature shines through whether curled up on a welcoming lap or nestled in a soft blanket, his love for close companionship will create a bond of warmth and joy for those lucky enough to call him their friend. Meeko has been diagnosed with a heart condition and will require special needs care. So he needs a special adopter! Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
