Adopt Sydney a Gray, Blue or Silver Tabby Domestic Mediumhair / Mixed (medium

Location:
Denver, CO
Description:

Meet Sydney! This darling little floof is a dainty little girl and is truly the cutest thing. She had a bit of a rough start to life and found herself in a community of street cats. Some of the people in the area were mean to her, and some of the cats wanted to mate with her. She was trapped as part of a TNR effort and quickly showed everyone that she was tame and wanted to have a safe indoor home! Sydney loves people and will rub against your legs, make biscuits, and get pets on her head. Her foster mom says that she is a “biscuit manufacturing facility.” She can take a day or two to warm up to people, and she’s still a bit skittish with quick movements. She will hiss at you if you approach her too quickly, but that’s just her protective instincts – there’s not a mean bone in her body. Sydney really, really wants to have a lovely, calm, and quiet person or family who will help her build trust, and in return, she will grow into the sweetest thing. She’s already most of the way there! Because Sydney is still a little nervous, she wouldn’t do well with children (teenagers are probably fine) or dogs. She would most likely be fine with other nice cats. She might be shy when you come to meet her at her foster’s house, but please know that she’s really a sweet little thing once she knows that you won’t hurt her. Want to meet Sydney and learn more about her? Apply to adopt! She is fostered in Fort Collins. Foster: LS Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.
