Adam and Alysa are a strikingly beautiful, bonded father-daughter pair of Snowshoe Siamese. Adam is much more social and outgoing of the two, and is the perfect lap cat to chill with on the couch after work. He purrs super loudly, even when squished and snuggled. His favorite thing in the whole world is chasing hair ties, and will even fetch them. He has a lot of energy, and playing fetch is a great way to burn off some of those zoomies. Alysa is shy, and it takes awhile for her to learn about and trust her humans. She is just a baby, after all! Over the two months that I've fostered her, she's blossomed into a playful, but respectful young lady that adores hunting for cheese crumbs that fall in the kitchen, chasing valiantly after ribbon wand toys, and exploring blanket forts. While Adam fares well with handling, Alysa doesn't like being picked up, and would do best in a home that doesn't have young children. I have not tested them with dogs, but they were perfectly confident and capable around other cats while at the rescue. They do well with instruction, and have learned what tables and counters they aren't allowed on in our house. It will be crucial for their new adopters to continue with this training with plenty of positive reinforcement in order to maintain a harmonious home. These kitties are being fostered in Cambridge.
