Billie is a beautiful tuxedo girl with an interesting story. She showed up at the country home of a 99-year-old WWII vet just a few hours after he died. (The cat he had adopted from us years ago had passed away just a few weeks before him.) The veteran's name was Bill, so she was named Billie, in his honor. Now that Bill was gone, there was no one to care for this little stray, so she came to us. Sadly, this petite little girl had been bullied by ferals, so she was skittish around other kitties and dogs. She is getting more comfortable all the time, and will do best in a calm home. She will be good with older, gentle kids. She is small in stature but has a huge heart! Billie is a very sweet little girl who dives into being petted and loves tummy rubs! She loves to rub her head and body into your hands for love and is getting used to being held. Unfortunately, Billie tested positive for FIV from being bullied. But rest assured, it is not contagious to other people or dogs. FIV+ kitties can live very long lives with no maintenance drugs whatsoever! They are often overlooked; which is the whole reason she SHOULD be given a chance at a loving home. There is not one thing this little girl has that isn't just perfect!!!
