$400
Artemis, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Larchmont, New York
Price:
$400
Location:
Larchmont, NY
Description:
Born 8/1/2020 This handsome boy was rescued from a hoarding situation and was seeking attention from the moment we met him. Artemis has thrived in his new environment free from a cage. He greets us at the door for a quick hello and pops up on his back legs to reach his food bowl before it reaches the ground. Artemis doesn't have to worry about getting good nutrition consistently now. He has also discovered treats, toys and all the petting he wants. Artemis will often nudge a hand for pets and let you rub him from his head to the tip of his tail. This sweet cat is ready for a home of his own though he doesn't mind sharing his space with his roommate Petunia.Adoption processTo adopt a cat or dog, please fill out an adoption application from our website: https://www.ny-petrescue.org under the "adopt" tab. The adoption donation for a puppy/dog is $400; a cat is $125; and a kitten is $150 (higher amounts for pure breeds). If the puppy or kitten is too young to be neutered, we require a spay/neuter deposit of $60 which is refundable upon receipt of proof from your vet. All adoption donations are tax-deductible. Our pets are examined by a veterinarian, spayed and neutered if age appropriate, vaccinated, dewormed, receive flea/tick treatment and microchipped. Our review process may happen quickly (within two days) or may take up to two weeks - email is our preferred means of communication. Please contact us by email at XXXX@gmail.com for a status on your application.Shelter locationWe have Dog & Puppy Meet + Greets every Saturday from 11:30am-1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY. Please check our events calendar here: https://ny-petrescue.org/Events-Calendar While many of our animals are kenneled in our facility, many are fostered in loving homes which provides special care and attention - and allows Pet Rescue to expertly match our pets with prospective homes.
